OPEN POSITION
PARAPROFESSIONAL LEAD
  • ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY
START DATE:
2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
RATE of PAY:
Stipend
  • $2000
  • complete building lead $1000
  • shared building lead duties
TERM:
Paraprofessional Building Leads will be on a rotation schedule with a term of 1 to 3 years based on the building's schedule and staffing.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Support paraprofessionals in the development of knowledge, skill and abilities needed to meet the needs of students. Provide training and feedback with instructional and behavioral strategies to support students. Provide timely and accurate updates, communication and overall guidance to paraprofessional Attend early out Wednesday professional development and support building paras with learned information Onboard new paraprofessionals Serve as a positive, encouraging role model Support administration with coordinating Paraprofessional substitutes Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to build trusting and professional relationships with adults Remain calm and positive when handling challenging situations Maintain confidentiality Employed with the District for more than 2 years Attended paraprofessional early out Wednesday professional development for at least 1 year Well organized Self
