Located within a welcoming school community, this onsite contract role involves direct engagement with students who benefit from compassionate, individualized support. Work closely in a high-needs classroom, providing 1:1 assistance to a student alongside a nurse for a portion of the day before transitioning to broader classroom support. Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support role is highly valued Sensitivity, patience, and a commitment to supporting students with diverse needs Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and other classroom staff Flexibility for assisting both 1:1 and within group settings as daily needs shift Reliability for adhering to the MondayFriday schedule, 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break

Role Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, personalized assistance to a student during designated hours, including working closely with the classroom nurse Support the educational and behavioral needs of students in a high-needs classroom setting Assist with classroom routines, activities, and instructional tasks as directed by the lead teacher Foster a safe, encouraging environment that promotes learning and positive social interaction Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
