This role involves performing a variety of technical and hands-on tasks to ensure the optimal functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of

--- Job Responsibilities
  • Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across a range of trades including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facilities maintenance.
  • Diagnose complex equipment malfunctions and system failures using appropriate tools and diagnostic techniques.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manuals to facilitate effective repairs and installations.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, etc.) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other maintenance personnel to coordinate repair activities and optimize system performance.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians or less experienced personnel as required.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, and report needs for replenishment. --- Job Qualifications
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training, technical certifications, or an Associate's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in multi-craft industrial or commercial maintenance and repair, demonstrating proficiency in at least two distinct trades (e.g., industrial electrical and mechanical, HVAC and plumbing, etc.).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including control circuits, motor controls, and troubleshooting up to 480V.
  • Proficiency in mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and precision alignment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, air handling units, and control systems.
  • Basic plumbing and pipefitting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, confined spaces, elevated platforms).
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant trade certifications (e.
g., Journeyman Electrician, EPA 608, HVAC/R certification) are highly advantageous.
