Job Overview Join our dedicated early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant! In this vital role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants and toddlers. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development for infants and toddlers Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime with attentive care and patience Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Engage children through interactive play, encouraging curiosity and exploration while fostering positive behavior management techniques Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to build strong relationships Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning centers, and assisting with classroom management strategies Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in accordance with legal requirements Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschool settings, or nannying/babysitting roles is highly valued Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid or related safety training preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Demonstrated ability to supervise children effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment Join us in shaping the future by supporting the growth of our youngest learners! Pay:
$15.00 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
