Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a unique opportunity serving vibrant, rural districts near Missoula, MT as a Paraprofessional. This contract position offers the chance to make a real impact by supporting students and contributing to the overall success of both the Potomac and Swan Valley communities. You'll spend three days each week at one district and one day at the other, working closely with educators and staff from August 21, 2026, through mid-June 2027. Whether you're an experienced paraprofessional, a general education teacher open to new experiences, or someone eager to embrace the rural school environment, your teamwork and flexibility will shine here.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional or comparable role in educational settings General education teachers willing to serve in this capacity are encouraged to apply Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt and support both general and special education classrooms Enthusiasm for working in rural and close-knit school communities Team-driven mindset, ready to contribute district-wide Flexibility to travel between two locations during the week
Responsibilities:
