Job Description

Camas Day School is looking for an assistant teacher for our preschool. Our school offers individualized instruction that fosters developing intellect, character, and creativity. Experience is required. This is a part time position hours are 2:30-5:30. Salary position.
Responsibilities include:
loving and nurturing young children, as well as fostering social emotional growth and friendship development, changing diapers, potty training, moderate cleaning duties, assisting teacher during teaching times, outside supervision, collaborating with staff, participating in staff meetings and trainings. This is a fulltime position. Interested candidates should be versed in differentiating instruction, able to manage diverse needs, and be willing to provide a loving, fun, environment for our students. Camas Day School offers small class sizes and a classroom teacher's aide as needed. The ability to work in a team environment and wear many "hats" is crucial. Our teachers enjoy co-teaching whenever possible and collaborate on projects, fundraisers, and program planning regularly. Must be able to pass and obtain required trainings and background check set forth by the State of Montana. Some of these may be obtained after hire. For more information please see the website below.
