Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves educating and caring for preschool-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured lessons. Assist the lead teacher in assigned tasks including curriculum preparation, working with the children, helping with cleaning the room and supervising children inside and outside of the classroom. Arrive in a timely manner before children arrive and depart once all duties are taken care of after children leave for the day. Care for rooms and equipment (classrooms, gym, playground) Supporting parents of children who are potty training Must obtain your own sub, please notify director ASAP if you plan on being out Attend staff meetings CPR and First Aid training Safely moving children from preschool to playground Moving and acting quickly if an emergency arises Able to lift children up to 50 lbs from floor Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods Must be able to to sit in the floor with children Move comfortably from sitting to standing, and vice versa Must be able to lift child to and from changing table to change diaper, if not potty trained If you are enthusiastic about shaping young minds and making a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a
