• Computer savvy and able to learn new systems and software quickly Teacher Roles and Responsibilities
• Become subject matter expert in Early Learning program (both Math and Reading)
• Lead instructor for elementary school - high-school
• Train new assistants as well as continual on-the-job training to current assistants
• Communicate with instructor on a regular basis to inform of student progress
• Administrative tasks include: proctoring tests, data entry, grading worksheets, organizing daily/weekly lessons, parent communication
• Provide input for student lesson plans, study projections and progress reports
• Support center marketing efforts which includes: distributing flyers, manning event tables and reaching out to local preschools and elementary schools to promote Kumon
• This is a 8-10 hour position.
