Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Health Program Assistant and play a vital role in supporting adults with diverse behavioral health needs in a Psychosocial Rehabilitation setting. In this position, you will assist the Program Manager in implementing treatment plans, maintaining client records, and providing compassionate care management. Your supportive approach will help create a positive environment that fosters growth, stability, and well-being for clients living with brain health conditions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health, social work, and crisis management while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Assist the Program Manager with maintaining client records, service authorizations, and accurate service documentation Assist with the development, implementation, monitoring, and revision to Person-Centered Plans in conjunction with other treatment team members, including outside agencies and service providers Support the delivery of behavioral health services by assisting with intake assessments and ongoing care management Engage with clients, including individuals with conditions such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and other brain health conditions that impact a person's independent living skills, ensuring respectful and supportive interactions Document service delivery accurately in daily progress notes Assist during crisis situations by applying crisis intervention and crisis management techniques to ensure safety for clients and staff Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide transportation to and from the program, community outings, and volunteer opportunities 2 year's experience working with adults with mental health needs is required Knowledge of service documentation and client record management Excellent communication skills for effective care management, documentation, and treatment team activities Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently through crisis intervention techniques Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and confidentiality protocols Join us in offering a supportive environment where every person is seen and can thrive! Pay:
