Youth Tennis Instructor / Assistant Coach Woodcroft Club

•Durham, NC Part-Time /

SeasonalStart:

Immediate Woodcroft Club is expanding its youth tennis program and is looking for energetic, reliable tennis instructors who enjoy working with elementary-school-aged children. Our current program consists primarily of beginner Red Ball, Orange Ball and Green Ball clinics. We're looking for instructors who can create a fun, active and welcoming environment while teaching beginning players the fundamentals of tennis. What you'll do Teach beginner youth tennis clinics to groups of up to 8 elementary-school-aged children Lead drills, games and tennis activities Help keep children active, happy, engaged and safe Instruct at our other youth programs, such as match play, weekend clinics, and camps What we're looking for Someone who: enjoys working with small groups of elementary-school-aged children can confidently and competently deliver instruction on the fundamentals of beginner tennis is positive, patient, energetic and dependable Previous formal coaching experience is preferred. Typical opportunities While our clinics typically run Monday-Friday generally between 3:00-7:00 pm, we do not require you to be available for every day of the week or every clinic that day. We have a roster of instructors, and are able to work with your schedule. We also run programming on Saturdays and Sundays generally between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. We do not require you to be available for weekend work or every clinic on a weekend day. We have a roster of instructors, and are able to work with your schedule. Additional camps, private lessons and special events may also be available Compensation is hourly ($20
