Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and physical activity. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Support children's individual developmental needs through tailored instruction in areas such as behavior management, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Maintain accurate documentation of child progress, standardized testing results, lesson plans, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Lead classroom management efforts by establishing routines, promoting positive behavior, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification. Collaborate with team members to plan engaging lessons that incorporate physical education, arts, literacy education, and other core subjects. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool teaching or daycare experience preferred. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content across multiple domains including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing training in childhood welfare and mandated reporting laws is highly desirable. Familiarity with early intervention practices and special education accommodations to support diverse learner needs. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
