Job Description:

The Teacher Assistant will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment. The assistant will help in implementing the Montessori curriculum, preparing educational materials, and supporting students in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing Montessori activities and lessons. Prepare and maintain a clean, orderly classroom environment. Support students during learning activities, ensuring they are engaged and learning at their own pace. Observe and document children's progress and behavior. Help manage classroom behavior using positive discipline techniques. Communicate effectively with parents and staff members. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. Assist with the supervision of children during indoor and outdoor activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Education or related field preferred. Experience working with children, preferably in a Montessori or early childhood education setting. Strong understanding of child development and the Montessori philosophy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
