In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and promoting positive development among preschool children. Your energy and proactive approach will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive space that encourages curiosity, learning, and social-emotional growth for children in their formative years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood education while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in developing and executing dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, social interaction, and emotional well-being. Help facilitate inclusive learning experiences for children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and safety; assist with setup and cleanup of materials and supplies. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support individual needs and foster a collaborative educational atmosphere. Support the implementation of curriculum development initiatives such as Montessori or other specialized teaching methods tailored to preschool learners. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, parents, and community partners. Previous exposure to curriculum planning or lesson planning within private schools or daycare environments is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately and patiently with diverse groups of young learners in a fast-paced setting. Join us to inspire young minds through energetic support and dedicated care!
