In this role, you will support classroom activities and help create a nurturing environment for young learners aged two to three years old. Your enthusiasm and commitment will foster a positive learning atmosphere, promote developmental milestones, and ensure each child feels safe, valued, and excited to explore. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with daily classroom routines, including setting up activities and managing transitions Support children with age-appropriate Abeka curriculum activities focused on literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Engage children in play-based learning, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence Help implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety and health standards Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress Contribute to lesson planning by preparing materials aligned with early childhood education best practices Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Familiarity with curriculum development, and classroom management. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a supportive learning environment we are a Christian based preschool so we teach the children about Jesus Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is desirable but not mandatory Join us in shaping the future by supporting the growth and development of our youngest learners!
