Pay starts between $17.00 and $20.00 based on education and experience.
Benefits:
All Employees will accrue Personal Time and PTO hours do not expire and can roll over to the following year. Sick Pay will be accrued for a maximum of 48 hours, applied to each employee's policy, and paid out for absences due to illness each calendar year. Sick pay hours do not expire and can roll over to the following year. Holiday pay Birthday off with pay We will help you obtain your CDA (Child Development Associate)
Responsibilities:
Help the lead teacher implement a fun and creative lesson plan suitable for children between 4-5 year olds Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, art, etc...). Track children's progress and report to parents (Tadpoles app) Communicate with parents regularly Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Desired Candidate Experience working in a licensed childcare facility Qualifying letter (Needed before the first day) TB test and Physical Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Ability to act as a mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain
