Substitute Assistant Teacher (Part-Time) Union County Community Action, Inc. Work Location- Wadesboro, Anson County, NC www.uccainc.org/careers Looking for flexible work that makes a difference? UCCA is seeking Substitute Assistant Teachers to support Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms. This position is a strong fit for dependable individuals who enjoy working with young children and can adapt to different classrooms and daily needs. Up to $101 per day
Schedule:
On Demand. Part-time position; Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:30pm Why You'll Love Working at UCCA Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Tuition Assistance opportunities Employee Referral Program Professional development and career growth opportunities Meaningful work serving children and families in our community What You'll Do Assist classroom teachers with daily activities Support children's learning and development Help maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Supervise children during classroom and outdoor activities Assist with meal service and daily routines Support positive interactions with children and families Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required EDU 119 or CDA preferred Experience working with young children preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license required Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings. Physical Requirements Must be able to actively supervise young children, move throughout classroom environments, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
