Early Learner Student Teacher Assistant

Job Description:

As an Assistant at the Kumon Center, you will work closely with students (primarily preschool) to guide them through their assignments, check and record work, and provide positive encouragement. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, pays close attention to detail, and can create a calm, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Sit with Preschool kids and go through Kumon Worksheets, ABC's, and other activities set by the Instructor. Grade and record student work accurately and efficiently Provide gentle guidance and encouragement to help students stay on task Help maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment Support the Kumon Instructor with daily operations as needed

Qualifications:

Available to work Monday-Thursday from 4-6pm. May require more hours as the center keeps growing. Must enjoy working with children and have a patient Have an enthusiastic attitude when working with early learners Strong math and reading skills (high school level or above) Reliable, punctual, and organized Consistent Experience working with children (tutoring, babysitting, classroom aide, etc.) is a plus
