Part-Time available About the Role Aging Care Matters Adult Day Center is seeking compassionate, energetic Program Assistants to join our team. We operate under a social and emotional model of care, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for seniors through meaningful engagement, companionship, and community. We are committed to fostering a warm, engaging environment where participants feel respected, supported, and deeply valued. Responsibilities Facilitate and participate in daily social activities, games, and creative projects. Provide emotional support and companionship to participants. Assist with the daily flow of the center, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Assist with participants ADLs as needed and required in participant care plans. Collaborate with the team to implement participant-centered activities. Daily cleaning duties may include taking out the trash, cleaning and sanitizing tables, bathrooms, and activity areas to maintain a healthy and comfortable environment.
Weekly cleaning duties:
mopping, dusting, and assisting with general upkeep to ensure the center remains tidy and inviting.
Requirements Certifications:
Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
Background Check:
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Physician's Medical Form:
Signed physician's medical form to work in Adult Day Care Center.
Qualities:
Age 18 or older, with prior experience working with seniors, and demonstrating a positive attitude, patience, and reliability.
References:
