Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre K Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment Engage with children through play-based learning, fostering curiosity and developmental growth in areas such as language, motor skills, and problem-solving Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation Help prepare classroom materials and educational resources to facilitate effective lesson delivery Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom activities Support daily routines such as snack time, nap time, and bathroom breaks while promoting independence and good habits Qualifications Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childhood education best practices Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Ability to manage behavior positively and implement behavior management strategies Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth through engaging activities Join us in shaping the future by supporting young learners during their most formative years!
