The ideal candidate will enjoy working with infants, work well as part of a team, and be committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with the daily care and supervision of infants. Provide a loving, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Assist with feeding, diapering, cleaning, and maintaining infants' daily routines. Follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, and established center procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment. Follow North Carolina child care regulations and state standards , as well as all health and sanitation guidelines. Communicate effectively with teachers, administration, families, and other staff members. Work cooperatively with the teaching team to meet the individual needs of each child. Multitask effectively while maintaining close attention to the safety and well-being of the children. Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures. Complete other classroom duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual . Must be flexible and willing to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom and center. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy classroom environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patient, caring, and attentive when working with infants. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. Willingness to learn and follow North Carolina state child care standards and regulations . Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
