Hiring Range:
$40,687 - $48,825 - depending on experience

United States Position Details:
Mayville State University is searching for an Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball. The assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects related to running a successful NAIA collegiate athletic program, including but not limited to, functioning as the head JV coach; scheduling competitions and planning practices: recruiting, coaching, mentoring and retaining student-athletes; monitoring annual budgets; arranging team and recruiting travel; supervising assistant coaches; fundraising and other departmental duties; fostering strong alumni relations and meeting all institutional, and NAIA rules and regulations.
Required Competencies:
Ability to effectively recruit and retain high quality student-athletes Highly effective communication and public speaking/presentation skills Effective planning, organizational and analytical skills Ability to work independently and within a team Work within the HPER Division and support the University, as a team member by collaborating with faculty, staff and students on committees, program planning, assessment, academic advising, and other needs as they become known.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in HPER or related field Successful playing and/or coaching at the collegiate or high school level Ability to work evenings, weekends and fulfill travel requirements A valid Driver's License is required
Preferred Qualifications:
