Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Toddler Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Toddler-aged children. Duties Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Facilitate daily activities including arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students. Uphold health and safety standards within the classroom, including first aid protocols when necessary. Skills Strong background in early childhood education or related fields. Experience in nannying, daycare settings, or babysitting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. Proficiency in toddler care and infant care techniques. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. First aid certification is a plus. A nurturing demeanor with the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
