Paraeducator Hastings, NE | $15.50-19.50/hr | 9-Month Positions | Summers Off Do you enjoy helping children learn and grow? We're hiring multiple Paraeducators for the upcoming school year. If you're patient, compassionate and enjoy working with students, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while enjoying a schedule that includes weekends, holidays and summers off. Positions begin August 10, 2026.
Openings Available Skills Paras:
$18.50-19.50/hr
SPED Paras:
$15.50-16.50/hr
EL Paras:
$15.50-16.50/hr
Title I Paras:
$15.50-16.50/hr
Office Paras:
$15.50-16.50/hr
Technology Paras:
$15.50-16.50/hr Pay is based on position, education and experience. What You'll Do Assist teachers with classroom activities and student learning Provide one-on-one and small group support Help students with academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs Prepare instructional materials and learning centers Supervise students during assemblies, drills, recess and field trips Maintain records and assist with classroom paperwork Support students with physical needs, including restroom assistance when necessary Work closely with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training and professional development opportunities Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents Basic computer proficiency Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations A caring attitude and willingness to support students with diverse needs No college degree? No problem. Project Para training is provided for candidates who do not have 48 hours of college coursework.
