Full Job Description Requirements:
Hold an Associate Degree/Seeking degree in a child related field is preferred, but not required. 1500 hours of Experience in Childcare setting/3 credit hours of EC education CPR/First Aid Certified Passionate, Flexible, Reliable, Organized, & Respectful Excellent Communication Skills Lift up to 40 lbs and be able to get up and down to work with children 18+ years old is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
Assist with creating and implementing Developmentally Appropriate lesson plans Be able to take direction from the head teacher Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Assist with creating child portfolios and assessing children's progress Meet the cognitive, social, physical, and emotional needs of each individual child Communicate to parents, children, and co-workers Build strong relationships with parents, children, and co-workers Participate in state regulated training Follow all policies of the center and DHHS Positive attitude and energy Positions start at $15/hour and depend on experience
