Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and positive behavior management. Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment. Engage with children through interactive play, educational exercises, and developmental assessments to encourage growth. Follow all health and safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures to ensure a secure environment. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute classroom routines that support childhood development milestones. Skills Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid or related health & safety training, or will to optain certification Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork within the daycare setting. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
