You will utilize job coaching strategies to instruct individuals on proper work habits. You will also help consumers develop work skills through light assembly and packaging tasks for local businesses.
Available Position:
Full-time; 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pmWage:
$17.50 per hourBonus:
$1,000 (paid in one installment after 6-months continued employment) We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide our services. - Assist with community access as required
- Assist consumers with participation on life enrichment activities
- Assist with personal care (toileting, feeding, hygiene, etc.) for consumers as needed
- Administer medications under direction of physician
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ensuring all consumers are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence
- Get supplies to and from work stations
- Learn production jobs used as training opportunities and teach those skills to consumers
- Break up defective products for reprocessing
- Perform training and appropriate modeling of employability practices
- Role model appropriate behaviors for consumers
- Count finished product to determine completion of production order
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions-prior to shipment
- Charting progress on habilitation programs, maintaining accurate and complete client information in a timely fashion
- Verify client daily production
- Examine products to verify conformance to customers' standards
- Provide general supervision and guidance to consumers

Requirements:
