Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a confident leader who is willing to be a lead teacher in our toddler or preschool classroom. We want a creative individual who can bring exciting activities to the classroom. We need someone willing to be trained as an assistant director while also taking on the role of teacher. Duties Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curricula that promote development of all children. Supervise classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children's growth across all developmental domains. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and build strong partnerships that enhance child welfare Oversee classroom management strategies to maintain positive behavior management and effective discipline techniques Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of qualified educators with experience in preschool, daycare, or private school settings Coordinate assessments including standardized testing and early intervention strategies to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly Requirements 21 years of age 1000 hours of early childhood experience 12 college credits in relevant field Perferred experience working directly with children in classroom settings—preferably with toddlers through preschool age groups Leadership skills and experience Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, staff, and community partners Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional early childhood education!
