Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure safety and positive behavior Provide individualized attention and tutoring to students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Help create an inclusive classroom environment that adheres to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) guidelines and educational compliance standards Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences and support instructional activities Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, child toileting, and maintaining a clean, safe learning space Preferred Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices such as Montessori or private school methodologies Experience working with children in classroom settings, including behavior management and classroom behavior regulation techniques Knowledge of special education strategies, including working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff Ability to supervise children effectively while demonstrating patience and empathy Familiarity with educational compliance regulations such as ESSA requirements and understanding of educational regulations Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to support instruction and recordkeeping First aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergencies Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or providing additional academic support in literacy or math skills Strong organizational skills for proofreading documents, managing classroom materials, and tracking student progress Embark on a rewarding journey helping young learners reach their full potential!
