Key Qualifications & Experience:

Experience working with children or young adults, ideally in an educational setting Previous paraprofessional experience or relevant background is strongly preferred Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school staff Patient, adaptable, and eager to support diverse student needs Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional behavior

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in daily classroom activities, lesson preparation, and implementing instructional plans Provide individual or small group support to students, including those with special needs or learning differences Help manage classroom behavior and encourage a positive learning environment Supervise students during non-classroom time, such as lunch, recess, or transitions Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed Support a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture This full-time, contract opportunity runs from September 2026 through June 2027, with weekly hours ranging from 32 to 37.5.
