Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract A school district in New Hampshire is seeking four dedicated paraprofessionals to support elementary students in a Title I school setting. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 15, 2026, providing an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student success in a structured, weekday schedule.

Location:

Portsmouth, NH (Elementary School Setting)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week (8:05 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. including student transition times)

Contract Duration:

Immediate start through June 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional support to students Provide individualized attention to students requiring additional academic assistance Support classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment Participate in activities aligned with Title I program goals Collaborate with staff and report on student progress as needed

Qualifications:

Must have an associate's degree, equivalent college credits, or a state Para 2 certification Prior experience working in an educational setting preferred Able to provide three professional references, including two supervisors Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
