r49562-03087 Job Description Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional Windham, NH ProCare Therapy is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals to support elementary-aged students in the Windham, New Hampshire area. This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with younger students and wants a consistent school schedule where they can make a real impact. Youll work alongside teachers and special education staff to help students stay engaged, build independence, and successfully navigate their school day. We are open to candidates coming from schools as well as childcare, ABA, behavioral health, caregiving, youth programs, or other backgrounds involving direct work with children. Position Details

• $27.00$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Approximately 32.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Primarily elementary-aged students
• Full-time school-year assignment
• Weekly paychecks
• W-2 employment What Youll Be Doing
• Support elementary students within special education classrooms
• Provide 1:1, small-group, or classroom support depending on student needs
• Help students with classroom routines, academics, and transitions
• Reinforce positive behaviors and classroom expectations
• Provide redirection and support when students become frustrated or dysregulated
• Help students develop independence, communication, and social skills
• Work closely with teachers and other special education professionals
• Assist with documenting student progress and behavior when needed Who Were Looking For
• Experience working with children is strongly preferred
• School-based or special education experience is a plus
• ABA, behavioral health, childcare, daycare, caregiving, or youth-program experience can translate very well
• Experience working with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs is highly valued
• Patient and comfortable working with younger students who may require additional support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
