Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Our teachers are responsible for establishing and maintaining a classroom environment to effectively facilitate physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of all children. Required experience in:
Creative Curriculum Preferred experience in but not required: Teaching Strategies ECERS Duties/Responsibilities- Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate program for students.
- Creatively plan lessons and activities to meet the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs of the children using creative curriculum.
- Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games, and story telling
- Provide weekly and monthly schedules and lesson plans that include culturally appropriate programs and activities
- Develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Our center model uses low child:staff ratios and small group sizes. Our teachers have high energy and a "can-do", caring attitude. Daily duties include ability to comfortably tolerate periods of sitting, walking, standing, occasional running, some lifting. Must have good fine and gross motor coordination when guiding students, ability to supervise play and exercise routines, adequate vision, hearing and receptive and expressive language abilities as suited to instructional and behavioral needs of young children.Benefits include:
