JOB DESCRIPTION
Kiddie Academy has an exciting opportunity for a patient, flexible and nurturing person to join us as an Assistant Teacher. The ideal candidate will bring a caring attitude, creative nature, and excellent communication and collaboration skills to our passionate team of child care professionals. This position requires flexibility and your willingness to work . You will be assisting babies in INFANT classroom that requires following babies' schedules . This position is full time, Monday-Friday and requires the ability to work until 6:00PM. If you're motivated by smiles and hugs from children and praise from parents, then we encourage you to click !
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assistant Teachers work to ensure compliance with Kiddie Academy's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning! Completes all academy and classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, activities, student accident reports, and attendance reports, etc. Helps and supervises children during all activities Prepares and implements classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules Assists Lead teacher as needed throughout the day and maintains routine if the teacher is absent Helps children with meal times and clean-up Communicates appropriate information to parents and maintains developmental profiles for children Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
If you have the motivation, but no experience - that's fine! We will train you! :) Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Highly professional and dependable Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high
