We are looking for assistants to work hand in hand with lead teachers to create a safe and caring environment to nurture each child's development. Must be 18+ . We have multiple positions in the morning and the afternoon working with children ages 6 weeks-5 years old. This is a part time position with the potential to become full time.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting the classroom teacher implement daily developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Supervise and tracking children
• Interacting with the children and encourage their involvement in activities.
• Using appropriate and positive discipline that is consistent with school policy.
• Greeting parents and children
• Changing diapers (required)
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the classroom
• Understanding licensing requirements and policies regarding infant-preschool aged children
• 12 hours of training are required throughout the year which we provide for you. We are a 12 month program that runs 5 days a week from 7:30-6. Although the position is part time, more hours can be given if the applicant is available to sub.
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma
