1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. 3. Willingness to actively assist special education students in the performance of learning activities, personal care, and/or toileting. 4. Ability to work collaboratively with appropriate building staff. 5. Experience working with students with behavioral/ learning needs preferred. 6. Bilingual- Spanish speaking ability desired. 7. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).REPORTS TO
Principal/Director of Student Personnel ServicesTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
$30.71 per Hour. terms as stated below. The employee is not eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or the Public Employees' Retirement System.Benefits
