The Instructional Paraprofessional School Aide assists with the overall management and supervision of students, assists with crisis intervention including hands-on intervention and conflict resolution, assists with the implementation of behavioral intervention plans, and assists with the collection of data related to student progress. Incorporates the organization's Mission, Values, and Service Standard Behavior guidelines in the fulfillment of all duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in education, social work, psychology or related field and minimum of one year experience working with children in a group setting or a High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs with a minimum of three years experience working with children in a group setting. 2. NJDOE Criminal History Review 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
