Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educators in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and experience working with children, particularly in early childhood settings. This role involves assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and providing individualized support to students, including those with special needs. Responsibilities Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in literacy and math education, ensuring they understand key concepts. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide individualized attention to students, particularly those with disabilities or special needs, including autism. Engage in curriculum development alongside educators to enhance educational offerings. Foster positive relationships with students through effective communication and support. Participate in classroom management activities and assist with daily routines. Collaborate with teachers to plan and execute engaging educational experiences. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred. Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development practices. Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques. Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom experience is highly valued. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Background in Montessori methods or other educational approaches is beneficial.
