Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our dynamic educational team. In this role, you will support classroom teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and effective instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive learning environment where every student can thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children, contribute to their development, and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Duties Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education principles. Provide physical assistance and behavioral support for students with disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. Engage in classroom activities, managing classroom behavior, and maintaining a safe environment for all students. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies that support student success, including behavior management and sensory accommodations. Assist in documenting student progress, maintaining confidential information handling practices, and supporting literacy education initiatives. Provide childcare and toddler care support when needed, ensuring a nurturing environment consistent with Montessori or other early childhood education methods. Qualifications Experience working with children in classroom settings or early childhood environments. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with students and parents. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Physical ability to provide necessary assistance for students requiring mobility or sensory accommodations.
