Job Description

We are seeking a Learning Center Assistant for our Student Support Services-Classic Program. This is a grant funded, part-time, hourly position.
Example of Duties:
As a Learning Center Assistant, you will monitor the learning center ensuring all students sign in and out and adhere to program policies and procedures for the center. Maintain and keep the learning center clean and organized.
Qualifications:
The student-employee should be able to have basic technical computer knowledge. Have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be dependable, mature, actively responsible, organized, accountable, and be able to pay attention to details. Must be able to maintain confidentiality, follow through on directions and complete assigned work in a timely manner. Must maintain a professional interactive and/or telephone manner, possess respectful verbal communication with both staff and students; and. be aware of keeping a presentable casual business attire. Completed at least one (1) full semester at PCCC. Have a flexible schedule and Saturday availability. The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation:
Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $16.

New Jersey Sick Leave :
Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
