Responsibilities in Conjunction with Lead Teacher Oversee daily operations of the classroom Effective implementation of curriculum according to High Scope Guidelines Implement lesson plans according to High Scope and Plainfield Office of Early Childhood (OEC) standards Conduct Early Screening Inventory
  • Revised (ESI-R) to assess children's developmental levels Collect anecdotes for Child Observation Record (COR) and maintenance of the children's portfolios Ensure class is using best practices according to NAEYC, ECERS, Grow NJ Kids and Plainfield OEC standards Foster open communication with families in your class, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly via text messaging, notices, newsletters and parent/teacher conferences Interface with Plainfield OEC staff on a continuous and regular basis Provide In Person Instruction Requirements CDA, 60 College Credits or Associate of Arts Degree Substitute Certificate (Willingness to Obtain) Previous experience working with children 3•5 years of age Ability to communicate with others Self Motivated Cooperative Team Player Work Remotely•When Necessary
COVID-19
considerations: All children and staff are required to wear masks. Intermittent disinfecting of common areas is done through out the day. Classrooms and materials are disinfected daily.
