Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking multiple qualified paraprofessionals in Gloucester County, NJ for on-going coverage for the 2026-2027 school year. The paraprofessionals will work in a classroom setting on a 1:1 or in-class support basis. The paraprofessionals will build rapport with students and classroom teachers, while promoting maximum academic and personal growth to students. Paraprofessionals will assist classroom teachers in providing extra support to students with special needs. The job responsibilities range from supplementing regular classroom curriculum to helping individual students.Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday Standard school hours, dependent on school/placement Responsibilities Provide instructional reinforcement for students Assist in behavioral management Promote positive student behavior Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class as needed Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and/or school administration Requirements Previous experience with childcare preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to understand child's needs High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelor's degree preferred Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education. Qualifications- High School Diploma (required); or
- An Associate's Degree or higher (preferred); or
- Some completion of study at an institution of higher learning (preferred) #
