What they do
A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
- Assist the teacher in the classroom with daily activities.
- Must have at least a high school diploma with one year of experience will be helpful.
- Possession of CDA is welcomed but we can assist you in acquiring one through the state scholarship program.
- Must be genuinely interested in working with children.
- Must be CPR trained or willing to complete all required training.
- Position may include working with children that need toilet training.
