1101 Yale Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 An Off-Campus Work-Study Position•MUST have a Work-Study Award A Work-Study Program Assistant position is available in the Research and Business Operations department at The Mind Research Network in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Under direct supervision, assists with administrative support, accounting and finance support, online research, event planning and research assistance. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide administrative support such as answering phones, scanning, copying, and assisting with ordering supplies. Assists in accounting and finance support including reconciling receipts, submitting and tracking reimbursements. Performs online research such as booking of travel arrangements, research housing and flights comparing prices. Provides assistance with event planning. Assemble course material, track payments, greet participants, and assist with setting up food. Provide research assistance as needed, such as downloading research articles, data entry and organizing participant folders. Other duties within these areas may be assigned as needed. As described above, this position offers experience in a variety of areas•administrative, accounting and finance, event planning, and research experience. We will be happy to work with the student to tailor their responsibilities to whichever areas that they are most interested in (i.e. more accounting experience if they prefer that over the other areas). Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Ability to do online research. Computer skills a must.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Required:
18 years of age or older High School Diploma Drug Screening Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.
