Job Description

Job Summary Auntie Nikki's Daycare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant Room Teacher to join our early childhood team. In this role, you will provide nurturing, responsive care while creating a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This position is ideal for an educator who understands the importance of early attachment, consistency, and routine, and who can support infants' developmental needs with intention and professionalism. You will play a key role in supporting children's earliest experiences and building strong relationships with families. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive, responsive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times Implement developmentally appropriate activities that support physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Follow daily routines for feeding, diapering, and naps in accordance with licensing requirements Monitor and document each child's daily activities and developmental progress Communicate consistently and professionally with parents and guardians Follow all health and safety procedures, including sanitation and first aid protocols Use positive guidance strategies to maintain a calm and structured classroom environment Collaborate with team members to support all children, including those with diverse needs Qualifications & Experience CDC or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education ( required ) Previous experience working with infants in a licensed child care setting (preferred) Strong understanding of infant development and appropriate caregiving practices Ability to maintain a structured, responsive, and nurturing environment CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Must meet all state background check requirements Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Us We are committed to providing a supportive work environment where educators can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
