Role:
Join Los Ninos Montessori as a Preschool Classroom Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Be part of a passionate team dedicated to promoting Montessori principles and supporting each child's individual growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation. Support children's social, emotional, and educational development through hands-on learning. Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources for activities. Supervise and engage with children during playtime and outdoor activities. Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment that promotes exploration. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with young children in a classroom setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Montessori principles and practices is a plus, but not required. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. First Aid and CPR certification required. Passion for early childhood education and child development. Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor towards children.
