Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Three Year Old Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This full-time position runs from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing essential support in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. As an assistant teacher, you will collaborate closely with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans, foster social-emotional development, and ensure a safe and stimulating classroom experience. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help lay a strong foundation for our preschoolers' growth and learning. Responsibilities Support the lead teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood development activities Assist in planning and organizing daily classroom routines and activities that promote social skills, independence, and curiosity Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Engage children in play-based learning experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation Assist with classroom organization, including materials setup, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy learning environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, developmental progress, and any concerns Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare or preschool settings Knowledge of special education needs, including working with children with autism or disabilities Ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development techniques Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents Familiarity with Montessori or other preschool teaching methodologies is a plus Demonstrated ability to work patiently and compassionately with young children in a childcare or private school environment Skills in behavior management strategies tailored to early learners' needs Join us in making a meaningful difference during these formative years! Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
