Job Description:
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to join our team as Substitute Teaching Assistants. This position offers the opportunity to support teachers and students in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Support students with their academic and emotional needs. Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess. Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment. Adapt to various classroom settings and student needs. Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent, college coursework in education is a plus. Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
