SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview:
 The Teacher Assistant will be in a middle school class located in Carmel, NY. The incumbent will provide a structured learning experience and atmosphere in the classrooms assigned. They will assist the classroom teacher and will supervise the children in the class throughout the entire school day. Specific duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the subject matter the Teacher Assistant will be placed in.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Special Education or CTA Credential; or High School with several years of education experience. Must have the ability to obtain TA Certification within six months of employment. Will consider candidates without Teacher's Assistant Certification as Teacher's Aides. We are looking for much availability for approximately three months and sporadic coverage thereafter. $16.01 - $21.35 Depending on education.
