Our Children's Place is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic UPK Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team. If you're passionate about supporting children's learning in a fun, engaging classroom, we'd love to meet you! Position Details Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. School-year position Follows the Midlakes Central School District calendar Paid holidays and school breaks Qualifications Associate's degree required (or higher) Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Responsibilities Support the UPK Teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lessons Assist with classroom management and supervision of children Foster children's social, emotional, and academic development Prepare classroom materials and learning centers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Pay Starting at $18.00 per hour , paid bi-weekly , with opportunities for wage increases based on relevant experience and education.
