Job Description

The Glens Falls City School District has multiple anticipated openings for Teacher Aide positions. These are Full-Time (10 Month) positions. Your typical day as a Teacher Aide may include: assisting with activities, supervising students, maintaining the classroom and other areas, assisting in developing good health standards and appropriate social habits, and filling in for other staff as needed. Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and competing demands. Demonstrated ability to work in a calm and respectful manner. Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude to motivate others. Candidate must enjoy working with children. Job Qualifications Minimum requirements include graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved.
